The Freckled Frogg is nestled amidst numerous unique shops in historic King, Wisconsin.

Located off the shores of Taylor Lake, it is in the heart of Waupaca’s breathtaking aqua blue Chain ‘O Lakes.

A vacation destination for years, the area is home to series of 22 connected lakes suitable for a large variety of

water sports as well as being a part of the Ice Age Trail and Hartman's Creek State Forest.

This quaint little cottage provides respite for the weary and hungry by offering seating under the shade of a

sturdy maple, in the warmth of the summer sun, or in the beautiful organic flower and herb gardens.

The Afternoons are the perfect time to stop in this cozy, sunny cheerful cottage for a cup of French pressed coffee, a glass of wine, a mug of local brew beer, gourmet tea, spiced apple cider, homemade cocoa and of course a bit of "fresh from the oven" delights.

Salads, unlike any salad you have ever had are the featured entree' at The Freckled Frogg along with 3 carefully selected sandwiches.  Having been described by most as "a work of ART complimented by an explosion of tastes and colors", the salads are  meals in themselves and include up to 10 or more healthy ingredients.  Salad dressings are home-made and available for purchase.  Whenever possible, vegetables, fruits, eggs dairy and meat are purchased from local sustainable pesticide & GH free sources, assuring the freshest and highest quality possible.

The Freckled Frogg is truly a one-of-a-kind café/deli/and outdoor garden bistro. This quaint cottage was once home to

a small 6-seat diner back in the mid 40’s. Then in 1998 it was purchased by another truly one-of-a-kind named

Sandi J. Schuettpelz who had the instinct and vision to be a part of the exciting growth of this wonderful area

described by many as “Door County 15 years ago".

A small but very selective menu will be available 7 days a week. Items will include Scheffe Sandi’s unique style of cooking, baking and concocting in the form or cookies, candies, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, pastries, and snacks.

A selection of fine wines will be available by the bottle planned to compliment the deli items available each day.

Home made deserts include Frogg Cake, Sandi's Grandma Hannes's Lemon Bars, Bonn-Bonns,

Scones, etc always warm and fresh from the oven. A selection of fine domestic and imported wines are

available by the glass to compliment our light and very gourmet menu.
